Attached to: NAT

Adapter Type: Paravirtualized Network

Do the following on the Controller node:

# nano / etc/hostname

Controller

# nano / etc/network/interfaces

Auto eth0

Iface eth0 inet static

Address 10.10.10.10

Netmask 255.255.255.0

Auto eth2

Iface eth2 inet dhcp

Configuring Name resolution

# nano / etc/hosts

10.10.10.10 controller

10.10.10.11 compute

10.10.10.12 network

# reboot

# sudo apt-get update

Netmask 255.255.255.0

Auto eth2

Iface eth2 inet static

Address 10.20.20.11

Netmask 255.255.255.0

Auto eth3

Iface eth3 inet dhcp

# reboot

# ping controller

# ping network

# ping google.com

Iface eth2 inet static

Address 10.20.20.12

Netmask 255.255.255.0

Auto eth3

Iface eth3 inet manual

Up ip link set dev $IFACE up

Down ip link set dev $IFACE down

Auto eth4

Iface eth4 inet dhcp

# reboot

# ping controller

# ping compute

# ping google.com

Do the following on the Controller node

# ping network

# ping compute

# ping google.com
