Use special colors to highlight or symbols to mark repetitions in a column of data in a table.

For example:

A supplier can invite other suppliers to join as a consortium. The report should display all suppliers, and then the last column of suppliers should display all consortia. When the consortium supplier is duplicate with other suppliers, it should be highlighted and asterisk should be added.

Special color highlights

Use the order detail data table in the demo data source of the designer to create a grouped report using the wizard, as shown in the following figure.

For all product IDs in the order, if the product ID is duplicated, the product ID with duplicate data will be marked red.

Add a column and set the expression =query("select count(*) from order details where product ID=?" in cell F2. ",B2)。

Through this expression, we can calculate the number of times the current product ID appears in the order list corresponding to the set, and then make conditional judgment on the foreground color of B2 according to this statistical value. The foreground color expression of B2 is if(F2>1,-65536,-16777216).

After the above settings, the data with multiple product IDs have been marked red. In order to see the effect, I converted the dataset to built-in, edited the data, and added a single product ID record. The effect is shown in the following figure.

The last column of data is auxiliary to judgment, so we don't need to display it in the report. You can set it invisible. Select column F first, and then remove the visible check box of the column in the property panel on the right.

Note: is visible in column properties.

Beautify the report, set the alignment to center, and discount the display format, let's see the effect.

Based on the above report, add a red five-pointed star to the back of duplicate data as a special mark, and do not make special marks for product IDs without duplication.

1. Insert a column before column C, and set the expression in B2 as: if(G2>1,"φ","").

2. Set C2 foreground color to red;

3. To make the product IDs of cells C2 and B2 appear to be in one column, adjust the column width and set the color of the left border of cells C1 and C2 to transparent.

4. Combine the B1 and C1 cells.

5. Set the alignment of B2 to the right, the C2 cell to the left, and set the indentation of C2 to 5.

The specific settings are shown in the figure below.
