H3C product inspection instructions (v2.5)

This instruction book is used to guide customers to inspect the products of H3C company and solve the corresponding problems of product identification and contract. If the customer has any questions about this operation instruction or the product during the inspection process, please contact the H3C customer service hotline at 400,810-0504. The red font is the main update of this version.

1. Product inspection information of H3C company

When inspecting the goods, please check the contract list, packing list and the product code in kind, which should be consistent. In particular, the physical card need to check the silver gray QR code label or orange label on the product code, do not check other screen printing. Product packaging or labels are sometimes optimized and updated. Due to inventory reasons, there may be a mixture of new and old packaging during the switching period, which does not need to be replaced and does not affect use and warranty. The details are as follows:

1. Purchase and sale contract:

H3C certification agents and end users directly sign the purchase and sales contract, the list of products purchased will be attached to the contract text, the list includes equipment, quantity, unit price, amount and so on. The specific equipment information is reflected by the code, product code and product description. Because the code corresponds to the product code information one by one, sometimes there is no "code" column in the contract.

The following figure is an example of a list of equipment in a purchase and sale contract. As shown in figure 1:

1.2. Packing list

When customers purchase a batch of goods, in order to do a good job of packaging protection, collection and transportation will be adopted, and multiple products (or materials) will be packed in a large packing box. In order to facilitate customers to inspect the goods, two packing lists will be placed in a shipping box (case No. 1) to indicate the contract number of the goods delivered this time, including several large cases, the number of orders, the number of actual shipments, etc.

The following picture is the schematic diagram (partial) of the packing list. As shown in figure 2:

Note: the product code in the packing list is the same as that in the purchase and sale contract.

The plastic bag on which the packing list is placed is affixed with an eye-catching label of "built-in packing list". The plastic bag is affixed to the outside of the product packing box. As shown in figure 3:

1.3. Product in kind

3.1. The shipping label refers to the label affixed to the smallest packing box of the product (i.e., one-time packing box). The product code in the shipping label is the same as the product code in the purchase and sale contract.

Due to inventory reasons, there may be a mixed shipment of new and old labels, which does not need to be replaced.

1.3.2. Serial number label refers to the label affixed to the product body (there may be multiple labels in the product body, the label shown in the following figure shall prevail, and please ignore the rest of the label).

Note: the product code in the serial number label is the same as the product code in the purchase and sale contract.

An and figure 6 show the priority serial number label (label size 48mm*6mm, orange, with the word "SN:"; mainframe for H3C processing and other larger products).

B, figure 8 and figure 9 show the secondary serial number label (label size is 15mm*8mm, silver gray; veneer module, optical module, cable and other smaller products for H3C processing).

Note: veneer module product QR code label. If the front panel of the veneer module has no place to paste the above label, the above label will be pasted to the interior of the veneer module (veneer surface).

1.3.3. Inspection instructions:

A, except for the product code mentioned above, the other information (including but not limited to: text on the panel, text on the mask, text on the printed circuit board) shall not be used for inspection.

B, ask the customer to check the packing list, the shipping label on the first package, and the product code of the serial number label on the product body must be the same as the product code in the purchase and sales contract signed by the customer. After the verification is completed, it shall be signed and confirmed by the responsible persons of both parties.

1.4. Instructions for packing the goods

The packing box is packaged with sealing tape with "H3C" Logo and has no other labels. See the picture below.

1.5. Packaging instructions for optical modules

The packaging of the optical module is shown in the following picture.

two。 Description of typical inspection problems

2.1. Inspection of veneer label

There are many labels and screen printing on the veneer, you can check the two-dimensional label on the handle, part of the front plate has no place to paste, the bar code label is pasted to the interior of the veneer (veneer surface).

2.2. Inspection of power supply module

According to the certification regulations and other requirements, the power module should retain the information of the underlying raw material suppliers, this information is not used for inspection, please check the product code on the orange bar code label. See the picture below.

2.3. Inspection instructions for Bundle products

Bundle products are package products sold in combination.

A Bundle product will be packaged into several sub-devices according to its composition, each of which will be affixed with the Bundle tag of the corresponding part number and the shipping label of the device itself.

Check the goods according to the Bundle shipping label on the outer package of the equipment: the label shows "Bundle product code", "Bundle code", "Bundle composition" and part number; look for all sub-item equipment according to the part number, and check whether the sub-item equipment is correct according to the Bundle composition.

Equipment shipping label-bar code label displays sub-item equipment information, and there is no Bundle information on the sub-item physical ontology.

2.4. Inspection instructions for materials without H3C mark

Some of the materials are H3C certified purchased standard parts, there is no H3C mark on the packing box, there is no H3C mark on the material body, and the information of the raw material supplier may be retained. For example: ac power cord, DC power cord, some power modules, some power adapters, accessories of some products (such as radio frequency cables of wlan products, antenna feed lightning arrester, N-type connectors, power amplifiers, splitters), etc. An example of a physical photo of this kind of material is shown below:
