Problem description:

I used to be able to connect to the server through Xshell, but suddenly I couldn't connect. Due to remounting of the / var directory

The solution is as follows:

First, check the status of the SSH service with the command:

Systemctl status sshd

As you can see, there is an error, but no details are displayed:

Use the command to locate error details

Sshd-t

You can see it because there is no directory / var/empty/sshd.

Use the command to create the relevant directory, and then restart the sshd service.

Mkdir / var/empty/sshd
