MediaTek introduced its Helio G85 SoC in detail. Obviously, the design of this chip focuses on game performance. The chip carries 12 nm eight-core CPU and 1GHz GPU and can provide high performance for mid-range mobile phones.

The Helio G85 has an eight-core CPU, with two Arm Cortex-A75 cores working as high as 2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores working as high as 1.8GHz. However, the biggest star of the show seems to be Arm Mali-G52 GPU, which has been pushed to 1GHz in order to ensure strong gaming performance.

The Helio G85 can support multiple camera settings, using two cameras with a sensor size of 16MP, or a single 48MP sensor. MediaTek chips support the connection between 4G LTE and WiFi 5. -with "intelligent prediction" function, can switch between LTE and WiFi5 connections, trigger only 13 milliseconds, reducing latency to a minimum.
