Some Summary of MDT Server experiment

From the blog I read and heard on the Internet, he has a set of configuration instructions for setting up the entire MDT server. Thanks again to the blogger. My whole experiment step is mainly based on his instructions. There are some small details in the experiment. I think I should record it, remind myself, and see if I can help my friends in need. The details are as follows:

First, my experiment is divided into two environments:

1. Vm14 virtual machine system, one virtual machine, AD+DNS+DHCP+windows deployment service + MDT server

2. Virtual machine of VM14 and physical host of server2008r2, virtual machine: AD+DNS+DHCP

Physical host: windows deployment service + MDT server

Second, the main ideas are:

Pass the virtual machine test before configuring the physical host

Third, the choice of software:

MDT: MicrosoftDeploymentToolkit2013_x64.msi

ADK: adksetup_WIN10BIJIBEN.exe

The reason why it is not completely built in accordance with the heard system environment is because the unit's server is a server2008r2 system, and it just started to use the heard versions of MDT and ADK to report errors and update the new version, so the ADK downloaded from the official website has been tried many times to make sure that the above two software can be used normally. This situation should be different according to the actual situation of each person, I personally think so. Let's do the corresponding experiment later when we have time.

The following begins to explain some of the problems I encountered in the experiment and their solutions:

1. In environment 1, when deploying the software, I installed the office2010 software and used the first method I heard to generate the setup_install.MSP file.

Note:

1. Office2010 must be placed on the computer, not on the mobile device, otherwise the mobile device cannot be installed after removal.

2. The path for office2010 storage should be in English (files need not be shared)

3. The storage path of setup_install.MSP files should be in the same path as the setup.exe of office2010.

4. In application, the quiet install commad (silent installation command) is: setup.exe, and you can install silently.

Second, in environment 1, deploy the software Adobe acrobat software

1. Software in * .msi format can be downloaded directly from the network.

2. Installation command: msiexec.exe / I Acropro.msi / quiet / norestart (pay attention to spaces)

3. In environment 2, the client gets the ip address and reports an error: PEX-E55:ProxyDHCP service did not reply to request on prot 4011

Solution:

In the virtual machine, DHCP server-IPV4---- server option-configuration option-060option is unchecked

In the physical machine, the windows server-attribute-DHCP---- is unchecked.

4. In environment 2, the client enters the welcome interface and reports an error after starting: Specify which deployment share to use

Solution:

1. When ADK is installed in the physical machine, the file service role will be installed at the same time. Open the share and storage management-DeploymentShare$ attribute-permissions-share permissions-add administrator full control permissions.

2. Add: DeployRoot=\ server name\ DeploymentShare$ to the Bootstrap.ini file

The first confirms that the file is shared, and the second confirms that the user can access the shared file

5. In environment 2, the client failed to deploy the software

Solution: copy the relevant software from the virtual machine and reconfigure it successfully

For the time being, make a record of these questions, and there are some other questions. If any great god sees and knows, please give us some advice:

1. What is the relationship between the software choice of MDT and ADK and the system of the server? is there a fixed combination?

2. With regard to the deployment of the software, I have only succeeded in office and Adobe, while other commonly used software such as qq, Sogou Input, 360browser and so on have not been successful.

3. With regard to the setting of Rules, how to deploy the system more accurately and with less effort, is there any setting instruction?
