Shulou(Shulou.com)05/31 Report--
Vivo recently introduced some major flagship devices to the market in 2022. However, many other products will be launched in the coming months. For example, the company's camera-centric Vivo X80 series has launched several other mid-and high-end smartphones. Obviously, the company is planning a new variant of the T1 series. For those who don't know, the Vivo T15G is a cheap 5G smartphone on sale. Now, the company seems to be developing the Vivo T1 Pro 5G for release. Today, this new variant has been found in the Geekbench database. The device comes with a Vivo V2151 model and is based on the Snapdragon 778G SoC and 8 GB RAM.
Oddly enough, the phone seems to carry the same Snapdragon 778G as the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G. Therefore, Vivo T1 Pro 5G is likely to be renamed iQOO Z6 Pro 5G in the market. Of course, this is still our guess. Notably, Vivo is also planning to launch another smartphone with Snapdragon 778G. A device considered to be iQOO Neo 6, or at least a variant, has passed Geekbench with the same chipset. The Chinese version of Neo 6 carries Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, so it is a major change for the version.
T1 Pro 5G in vivo
Back to the point, the Vivo T15G and the Vivo iQOO Z6 are essentially the same smartphone. The biggest difference is the interface. As a result, we have more opportunities to see this device renamed Vivo T1 Pro 5G.
Vivo T1 Pro scored 790 points in single-core tests and 2859 points in multi-core tests. For followers of Snapdragon 778G, this score of is familiar. The code name "Lahaina" in Geekbench can easily reveal the chip behind the phone. The platform is based on 6 nm architecture and has 4 ARM Cortex-A78 cores with up to 2.4 GHz and 6 ARM Cortex-A55 cores with 1.8 GHz. The GPU is the Adreno 642L, which easily outperforms the Adreno 619 in recent smartphones with the Snapdragon 695G SoC. The device uses 8 GB RAM to run Geekbench, but we can discard more variants. It runs Android 12, which means that Funtouch OS 12 or OriginOS Ocean will run on it. It all depends on the region.
