Unattended installation of WDS configuration

First of all, we need to go to Microsoft to download a Windows AIK to configure the answer file.

After downloading, we began to apply Windows AIK and deploy WDS for unattended installation.

1. Open the AIK installer kit

3. Follow the wizard prompts to complete the installation

4. In all programs, open the AIK Windows system Image Manager

5. Select the system image to install

6. Find the install.win file in the system image. I chose the win7 flagship version.

7. After you have selected the version, create an answer file

8. Once built, go back to the Windows image and expand Component

9. Locate Windows-Setup and expand

10. Find Diskconfiguration and transfer to Windows PE

The parameters of the 11.Windows image are passed to the answer file to configure the properties

13. Return to the Windows image, find the WindowsDeploymentServices component, and add it and its subcomponents to the answer file

14. Open the Windows deployment service and compare the name you need to enter against the following image properties:

15. Go back to the Windows image, find the Windows-UnattendedJoin component, add it and its subcomponents to the answer file, and modify the properties

16. Go back to the Windows image, find the Windows-International-Core-WinPE component, add it and its subcomponents to the answer file, and modify the properties

17. After the configuration is complete, verify that the answer file reports an error, which is displayed in the message

18. When you are finished, you must save it in the RemoteInstall folder

19. Open the WDS server, right-click the properties, enable unattended installation, and browse the saved answer file

20. After the client boots, first enter the BIOS to adjust, boot for the network card, press F2 to install, there is no need for management, and the client will install the machine automatically according to the answer file.

In this way, it would be nice to have no one involved in installing the system.
