Step 1: run the matlab program and create a file

Clear, close all;clc; chanloc=pop_chanedit (''); [fileName filePath] = uiputfile ('* .mat'); save ([filePath fileName], 'chanloc')

Step 2: start creating the electrode, now create the second electrode:

Click [Insert chan] in the red box 1 above.

Step 3: check the box behind the Channel in data array of the channel, red box 2.

Step 4: enter the electrode channel in Channel lablel:

Here we want to create 10 electrodes, so we just need to create them successively (step 2, step 3, step 4), and just increase the number of channels to 10.

Step 5, when you have created 10 electrodes, click on red box 3, which is as follows:

After clicking, the following dialog box pops up:

Click in the red box and select Standard-10-20-Cap81.ced

After the operation is completed, click OK to get the location information, as follows:

Step 6: test whether the location has been created successfully:

1) Click Plot-2D to view the QR image:

2) Click Plot-3D to view the 3D map

Step 7: save the channel location, click Save (other types), select the loc format, and name it
