Huawei officially announced the new P40 series of flagship products. Unlike before, they now have three flagship versions: normal P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro Plus. So, what's the difference between each phone?

Display

The P40 has a small flexible OLED display with a 6.1-inch full HD resolution. Although the P40 only has a single 32 million-pixel fdial 2.2 front camera, it uses a pill-shaped punching camera setting, which is the same as its more expensive sibling. The P40 Pro and P40 Pro Plus have depth sensors and 3D ToF sensors in addition to the front camera.

All three phones run Huawei Hayes Kirin 9905G eight-core processor, with 5G function and advanced AI function. All three phones were ported to Android 10 via EMUI 10.1.

Although the capacity of all three phones can reach 128GB or 256GB, the storage option for the P40 Pro and P40 Pro Plus is 512GB. P40 and P40 Pro also obtained only 8GB RAM, while P40 Pro Plus obtained 12GB RAM.

In terms of batteries, the P40 has a 3800 Ma hour and 22.5W fast charge function. At the same time, the P40 Pro and P40 Pro Plus have the power of 4200mAh and ultra-fast 40W wired charging, 27W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging.

Color

The P40 and P40 Pro will be available in a variety of colors, glossy and matte.

For glossy colors, these two phones will be available in ice white, dark blue and black. The matte treatment of these two phones is blush gold and silver cream.

At the same time, P40 Pro Plus only offers ceramic white and ceramic black.
