4G-LTEFI Test Report

LTEFI Introduction:

LTE-Fi is a product integrating LTE and Wi-Fi. Compared with traditional WLAN, LTE-Fi integrates WLAN AP and LTE CPE, and uses wireless network backhaul to achieve low-cost WLAN coverage.

LTE-Fi mainly includes two functions, WLAN AP and LTE CPE, LTE CPE implements LTE signal introduction and backhaul link, WLAN AP provides Wi-Fi coverage, and provides access and network access for end users. This type of product mainly uses mobile channels to quickly provide Wi-Fi coverage and solve the wireless Internet access requirements in areas where limited network resources are lacking and mobile network signals are good.

Purpose of test:

LTEFI products of Shenzhen Innovation Alliance Technology Co., Ltd., after switching to Wi-Fi coverage under mobile 4G network, computer terminals test the maximum download rate in real time. Understand the performance of LTEFI products of Shenzhen Innovation Alliance Technology Co., Ltd.

Summary of test results:

According to the current network introduction, China Mobile 4G adopts TD-LTE network, which is the next generation mobile communication network with larger bandwidth and higher speed than the 3G network we use now. The theoretical peak speed of 4G networks can reach 50 mbps uplink and 100 mbps downlink.

In Nanjing area, through many tests of LETFI equipment of Shenzhen Innovation Alliance Technology Co., Ltd., the maximum download rate is 1.41MB/s--2.41MB/s, the average download rate is 1.14MB/s--2.1MB/s, and the bandwidth is between 10MB--20MB. The results show that the test downlink value did not reach the network said China Mobile 4G theoretical downlink peak of 100 megabytes. A possible factor is that the mobile operator has made bandwidth restrictions on the region.

On June 11, during the test with Wang Le of Shenzhen Innovation Alliance Technology Co., Ltd. near the central gate, it was found that the LETFI equipment test carried by Wang Le had a link quality of 100%, signal strength of-51dBm, and maximum download rate of 1.65MB/s--2.41MB/s. The LETFI device we tested had a link quality of 40%, signal strength of-82dBm, and maximum download rates of 1.14MB/s--1.41MB/s. The two devices differ in link quality, signal strength and download rates. Now Wang Le has left LETFI equipment in our company.

According to the test in Nanjing and Quanzhou, the maximum download rate in Nanjing is 1.41MB/s--2.41MB/s, and the maximum download rate in Quanzhou is 3.22MB/s--3.47MB/s. Mobile 4G networks have made appropriate download rate limits in different areas.

In the same area, Datang Telecom LETFI equipment on Nanjing No.154 bus has been downloaded and tested, and the maximum download rate is 2.2MB/s--2.5MB/s. Our company uses the LETFI test of Innovation Alliance Technology Co., Ltd., and the maximum download rate is 1.41MB/s-2.41MB/s. It can be inferred that the maximum download rate of mobile 4G network in Nanjing is limited to 2.5MB/s.
