3. Mount to the directory

After the hard disk is formatted, you can use the mount command to mount the hard disk partition to a directory. Create the directory first. If the directory to be mounted is / disk2, execute the "mkdir disk2" command, and then execute the "mount / dev hdb1 / disk2" command to use the new hard disk.

Fourth, mount automatically at startup

According to the above operation, each time the machine starts, you must execute the mount command to mount it, which is troublesome, and you can make the machine mount the hard disk partition automatically at startup by modifying the / etc/fstab configuration file (figure 2).
