There is still a gap in the talent training mode between China and the United States. Since 2005, the global number of related patent applications in the field of artificial intelligence has exceeded 60,000. Beijing actively promotes the development of artificial intelligence industry and distributes it from the perspectives of policy, technology, talent and investment. However, there is still a gap in the overall level of artificial intelligence industry in Beijing, and it will face challenges in the future.
First, there is still a big gap between the original innovation ability and the United States. Second, the lack of high-end chips, key components and high-precision sensors may lead to re-hollowing in technology and applications. It is necessary to develop chips and intelligent sensors based on new requirements, new materials, new processes and new principles around the technical difficulties in artificial intelligence chips, sensors, algorithms and application scenarios.
Third, there is a shortage of high-level talents and high-end artificial intelligence talents.
