Check the model of the eclipse version currently in use

Find the Help-- > about Eclipse option in the exlpse options bar to see the current exlipse version model. As shown in the figure:

Download the matching SWT plug-in from the official website, or install it directly online

Download the SWT plug-in from: http://www.eclipse.org/windowbuilder/download.php

Find the same SWT version as the exlipse version you are using. My current version is 4.4.2, and I have an example of this version.

Note: Update Site under the Release Version column is the online installation address, and Zipped Update Site is the download plug-in file.

Install the SWT plug-in

There are two ways to install the SWT plug-in: 1 install it online and install it directly in exlipse using the plug-in address of the official website. 2. Install locally, download the plug-in from the official website and install it into exlipse!

1. Online installation

1), find Help-- > Install New Software.. in the exlipe options bar

2) the version of my current instance is 4.4.2, so the SWT address I got is: http://download.eclipse.org/windowbuilder/WB/release/R201506241200-1/4.4/

Create a new plug-in name import plug-in as shown in the figure: enter the SWT official website address in the location text box.

3), select the plug-in you need, check it, and then click on the next step to ok!

2. Local installation

The local address path of the current download plug-in: C:\ Users\ Dream\ Downloads\ WB_v1.8.0_UpdateSite_for_Eclipse4.4.zip

There are two ways to install locally:

1), such as online installation is similar, and then in the second step of online installation, change the SWT official website address to the local address, the following steps are the same!

2) extract the plug-in file. There are two folders features and plugins in the plug-in folder. Find the root directory of exlipse. Put the files in the two folders of the SWT plug-in into the folder corresponding to exlipse.

3. Check whether SWT is installed successfully

In the exlipse line selection bar, Zhao Dan Windows-- > Prefences-- > WindorBudier to see if there is a SWT plug-in!

Activate the SWT plug-in, and the inactive plug-in can only use some of its functions

After downloading, extract the file and click on the Win32.bat file. The result is as follows:

5. Create a SWT project

1) Open Eclipse,new- > other- > WindowBuilder- > SWT Designer- > SWT/JFaceJavaProject and name it up to you.

2), create the Packge package in the src directory, and then right-click to change the package new- > other- > WindowBuilder- > SWT Designer- > JFace- > ApplicationWidow name as you like!
