Shulou(Shulou.com)06/02 Report--

After the Jira program is installed, the virtual memory of the default JAVA is very small, and the actual production environment will respond to cards for a period of time because of the lack of memory. As shown in the following figure, it is necessary to manually modify the JAVA virtual memory size at this time. It is recommended to modify it step by step, not too large at once.

1. Open the\ bin\ setenv.bat file in your JIRA installation directory, query JVM_MINIMUM_MEMORY and JVM_MAXIMUM_MEMORY, and change the value to theoretical value and save it.

two。 Then run setenv.bat again and restart the JIRA service login to check the modification results. The following figure shows the JAVA data found after the modification and restart of the Jira service. The result shows that the modification is not successful.

If, like me, it doesn't work to modify setenv.bat, then move on to another method:

1) locate the JIRA service and confirm the service name.

2) in the DOS command window, enter the\ bin of your JIRA installation directory through the cd command

3) then enter the command "tomcat8w / / ES//JIRA service name". This command is case sensitive, especially when ES must be uppercase.

`Note: the specific name of the tomcat configured by JIRA.

Finally, I would like to thank netizens Hangzhou-Yunshu for their guidance. I am a rookie in JIRA system and leave a message for reference if I encounter similar problems in the future.
