2.4.5 upload program

Now that all the Arduino IDE settings are complete, we can upload the sample program to the board. This is as simple as clicking the upload button shown in figure 2.45. When the upload button is pressed, Arduino IDE will test your source code for syntax errors. If the test passes, the source code is compiled and then uploaded to the board. After the upload is successful, you will be prompted "upload successfully" in the information bar, as shown in figure 2.46.

2.4.6 observe the running result

After the program is uploaded successfully, it will be executed immediately. At this point, you can see that the on-board LED flashes at an interval of 1 second by observing the LilyPad. The lighting effect of the on-board LED is shown in figure 2.47. At this point, our whole set of equipment is working correctly.
