These socket texts are used for process communication between local clients using Interprocess Communication Protocol (ipc) and different oracle, including tns snooping, css, crs,evm daemons, and even databases and asm instances. These socket are created by processes that are actively listening. Here oracle tns listener creates these socket files mainly for pmon and tnslsnr communication.

If RAC or HAS:

3.1.On the Linux platform, Network Socket File is in the / var/tmp/.oracle/ directory. On other platforms, possible directories are: / tmp/.oracle/*, / tmp/.oracle or / usr/tmp/.oracle

3.2.If CRS or HAS is not started, delete the temporary oracle file (Network Socket File), and it will be recreated automatically after CRS restart, without adverse effects.

3.3.If CRS or HAS is started and running normally, delete the temporary oracle file, which does not affect the database operation, but the database cannot be shut down normally (you can abort, but you cannot start it).

3.4.If the above situation occurs, 3MagneCRS cannot be turned off (including using the-f option), only shared memory segments and kill processes can be cleaned manually. In HAS, the kill ocssd.bin process does not cause the host to restart. However, in the RAC environment, the kill ocssd.bin process will cause the host to restart.

3.5. if you have completed the above scenario 4, you only need to restart CRS or HAS.

4) listener.ora configuration problem, pay attention to the space.

5) lack of system resources, you can consider adjusting the limits setting and so on.

Case: client-side TNS-12543 error. If you use tnsping to verify the connection of several database environments, a library on the client always reports TNS-12543 errors and can ping, but if you connect directly, you can report an error, which is likely to be a problem with the firewall or other network configuration. You can check whether the firewall limits a certain port. (compare the strace server with the client)

When parsing connection strings using tnsping, the timeout cannot be controlled. The default setting is 1 minute at the operating system level. If there are a large number of connection strings that need to detect IP and port, you can consider nc to set the timeout. Refer to the command:
