Site1--Site12, total distance 521km, using 2-core optical cable, a new 40-wave DWDM dense wavelength division multiplexing transmission system, a single channel 10G, a total capacity of 400G site 2 Murray site 11 optical amplifier station.

Solution

Solution description:

1) considering capacity expansion, 40 × 10G full wave design and XFP 40km

2) due to excessive attenuation in a single site, Site7 Site9 Site10 needs OEO regeneration.

3) Link optical power calculation: unidirectional: XFP single-wave luminous power is calculated according to 0dBm (- 2~3dBm), single-wave output is 5dBm after BA amplification, after 6-stage LA amplification, Site9 LA optical power is-- 18dBm, amplified by LA, DEMUX attenuation, single-wave power is-6dBm, ensuring that the receiving optical power of XFP is within a reasonable range; reverse: after calculation, the single-wave power at the receiving end is-6dBm, which is guaranteed in the range of XFP sensitivity.

4) Link dispersion calculation: G.652 fiber, XFP module of 40km, total length 404km of Site1--Site7, total compensation 380km.

5) OSNR calculation of the system: Site1--Site7 OSNR=25.6dB > 24dBline Site7 Murray site 9 OSNR=24.6 > 24dBMagneScriptSite9 Must9 OSNR=26dB > 24dB, meeting the design specifications
