1. Precautions in use

If the TortoiseSVN is not restarted after installation, the icon cannot be displayed, and the explorer.exe process can be restarted instead of the system restart process

Svn://localhost represents the warehouse path

2. Users and permissions

2.1. New users

Open the svnserve.conf file in the repository%/conf/ directory

Startup: password-db = passwd (no spaces in front)

Open the passwd file in the% repository%/conf/ directory to increase the account number

2.2. Configure permissions

Open the svnserve.conf file in the repository%/conf/ directory

Anon-access=read # defaults to read, that is, anyone can access resources; it can also be specified as noneauth-access=write # who has permission to write

3. Common subcommands of Tortoise

Import: submit files or directories that are not included in the version controller to the version library (execute only once)

Checkout: output a working copy from the version library tag

Revert: restore the working copy file to the specified version

Update: merges changes to the version library into the working copy

Commit: submit changes to the working copy to the version library.

3.1 、 Checkout

Purpose: check out the contents of the version library to the local working copy

3.2 、 Revert

Purpose: to undo all local uncommitted changes

Note: this command can only be executed before the Commit operation has been performed, otherwise it will be invalid

The first kind: Revert

The second kind: Update to revision...

3.3 、 Add

Commit & Update

Commit role: edit the working copy and submit it to SVN

Update function: merges changes to the version library into the working copy
