A brief introduction

Greenplum, which is based on postgre database development, is a relational database cluster, which is actually a logical database cluster composed of multiple postgre database services. It contains two roles, master and segment. It distributes the data of a table evenly on the segmeng and realizes fast massive parallel operations. Greenplum is very powerful in dealing with large amounts of data.
