In the past, Deepin desktops were developed by HTML5, so this desktop rewritten with Qt will be much better in theory, but Mingyue has encountered stutter problems when using both solid-state or mechanical hard drives, 8G or 4G memory, independent or integrated graphics cards, and even crashed by "cards" directly. Application

The most important thing of the operating system is the quantity and quality of applications. The reason why Windows has become the dominant desktop operating system is because of the huge application software support. For a long time, running QQ on Linux platform has been a big problem, because Tencent officials will no longer launch any QQ client, so either use webQQ or toss WineQQ by yourself, which is very troublesome and unstable. Deepin is configured directly for you and can be used out of the box. And stable enough. On the question of Windows platform software, Deepin purchased the license of Crossover, and then configured the commonly used software on Windows (such as Wechat, PS, Xunlei, Baidu Cloud, iqiyi), which can be installed directly in the app store, which is very convenient.

The application is based on WebKit, so it is also highly extensible and customizable. this convenience in application is one of the main reasons why Mingyue is optimistic about Deepin. Few of the Windows applications transferred to Linux are stable, but Mingyue doesn't have much success and perfect experience (most of them are painful, or even jump into a shit hole).

System performance

To be honest, Deepin is rather configured. If your computer configuration is too low, Mingyue does not recommend you to experience Deepin, because it feels the same as you experience Windows10 on an old computer. It's absolutely sour! At present, it seems that if the memory is less than or less than 8G, Deepin will show more obvious and frequent stutter problems, of course, this is only Mingyue's own judgment.

The Deepin experience is done on the desktop, so the experience on the laptop is gone. It is said that the performance of Deepin on the power supply and WiFi is not satisfactory.
