As a tester who has just entered IT, it is good to be able to do a good job in functional testing. As for development, young people are expected to have a quick smile. Why? Contains the excitement of entry, or bent on becoming an industry expert, I am very light on career planning, no research, do not laugh.

When it comes to performance testing, everyone in the industry knows, and many people yearn for it. It may be the representative of high salary, high energy and high knowledge. But how can a test rookie successfully enter this fast lane of growth?

My ability is mediocre, but I am diligent and like technology. I am a little paranoid and advocate learning all the time, but there is not enough time (maybe there is not enough rest time, I can only accept limited resources every day, and a lot of knowledge is difficult to integrate into my mind). Three and a half years ago (I left the company six months ago), I betrayed the test and transferred to development after two years of testing. He left the company and returned to the testing industry.

First, lay the groundwork for me on the way to the performance test. Familiar with Linux applications (spent half a year of ecstasy learning, continuous use for 2 years, unforgettable, on the learning reference course of Linux, please read my other blog articles), because Linux is familiar to a certain extent on the crazy learning system environment-related knowledge, although so far do not dare to say anything to understand, but really rarely encounter problems that can not be solved (a bit exaggerated, because of the existence of Internet friends, you should know). Have studied the programming language, can be transferred to the R & D department in that company, in addition to the seniority of the old employee, there is still some strength in it. Once upon a time, as I grew older, when I was worried and blind about the future, I learned Oracle, which is not just a simple application. Also because of many other factors, did not take the road of DBA. Of course, I also have a deep understanding of that company's products. I forgot to make an introduction. I was doing something about Web. Along the way, I have been learning, rarely interrupted, and the content is messy, but I have never forgotten any high-quality materials that have been studied with painstaking efforts (I have summed up a set of learning methods for myself, and you can read my other blog articles if you are interested).

In that company, performance testing was always controlled by several veteran employees, and we never had the chance to touch it, and we always felt very powerful when we looked around. Later, with the rapid development of the company and the shortage of staff in the department, we were finally able to get in touch with that awesome guy.

Here I would like to ask a question (how to master performance testing), from theory learning to practical application, fully mastering (very time-consuming, and it is difficult to find a good teacher); to study because of the need of work, although I am afraid every time. If you can complete the task, feel that you are still a master, whether to choose to continue to explore or wait for the 'good opportunity' to appear again, waiting for the 'good opportunity' to torture our little nerves again. I am the second kind of rookie who is tortured. Although I have no special time to study, I still actively explore (every time I find excellent resources, just like fat boy sees cream cake. ).
