Backup

Backing up data has always been a complex and time-consuming operation. This includes maintaining a series of tapes or drives, manually collecting them and dispatching them to backup devices, and all inherent problems that may occur between the original site and the backup site. This method of ensuring that backups are performed cannot avoid problems such as running out of backup media, and it takes time to load backup devices to perform recovery operations, and is prone to equipment failures and human errors.

Cloud-based backup is not a panacea, but it is certainly much better than previous backup methods. You can now automatically dispatch data anywhere on the network while ensuring that there are no security, availability, or capacity issues.

Although the usage of cloud computing described above is not particularly detailed, the comparison with traditional alternatives does inspire us to use the cloud, which can increase the flexibility of the IT infrastructure while leveraging big data analytics and mobile computing.
