In the daily maintenance of Exchange, when creating a mailbox account, Exchange automatically allocates a database if no target database is specified. The general principle of Exchange allocation is that the database with a small number of people will be allocated to that database.

In the real world, a journal or archive database does not want to be the target database automatically allocated by Exchange. How to cancel the automatic allocation function of Exchange to some individual databases? By default, auto-allocation is enabled for each Exchange database, specifically by controlling the IsExcludedFromProvisioning parameter of the database, which defaults to False. When set to True, the auto-allocation function is turned off.
