It has been ten years since the Windows 7 system was officially launched in 2009, and Windows 7 is also the most popular operating system. I believe the first computer that many people choose to buy is the Windows 7 system. However, with the passage of time, Windows 10 has become the number one PC operating system, with 900 million units installed.

However, for Windows 7, although it is currently the second largest operating system, it is less than 100 days before it is finally eliminated, which means that Windows 7 users have less than 100 days to install Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, or to migrate to other platforms such as Linux or macOS.

Microsoft, for its part, has tried every means to recommend Windows 10 to users on the Windows 7 platform, but migrating users from Windows 7 to Windows 10 may be much more difficult than upgrading Windows XP devices to supported Windows in early 2014. This is because the transition from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 is less significant.

Windows 7 is often described as the last operating system that provides a traditional Windows experience. Windows 8 is the first version with a built-in app store and Metro UI, and although Windows 10 greatly improves the experience in all these areas, Windows 7 still doesn't feel old in any way. This makes users who only want to use Classic Windows willing to continue to use Windows 7 even after termination of support, despite the risk that security vulnerabilities are exposed and cannot be fixed.
