Modify this line of / etc/fstab: default:

Tmpfs / dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0

Change it to:

Tmpfs / dev/shm tmpfs defaults,size=10G 0 0

The size parameter can also be measured in G: size=1G.

Re-mount / dev/shm to make it effective:

# mount-o remount / dev/shm

You can immediately check for changes with the "df-h" command
