Qualcomm continues to face fierce competition for dominance in the smartphone processor market. The company has launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which is manufactured using 4nm technology, and will power its flagship Android products in 2022. Although we expect large-scale popularity of devices with architectures, Qualcomm has officially released its financial results for the previous quarter.

Due to the large number of hardware shipments by Android manufacturers, this data outlines robust performance. From what we have learned, Qualcomm has generated $10.71 billion in revenue, a steady 30 per cent increase over the first quarter of 2021. Net profit for the same period reached $3.4 billion, up 38 per cent from a year earlier.

Investors will be able to benefit from better earnings per share, up 41% to $2.98. Qualcomm's chief executive said this was just the beginning of a new era in the company's development, with its target market growing sevenfold to $700m, and his forecasts cover the next decade.

Mobile is their largest business unit, with revenues of $5.98 billion last quarter, up 42 per cent from a year earlier. Qualcomm expects to be more successful in the first quarter of 2022.
