Apple WWDC will be held from June 13 to 17.

Not much is known about iOS 10. Apple is planning a revamp of the App Store to address issues related to browsing apps and even introduce bidding rankings instead of just updating the user interface.

In February, media reported that Apple was working on a Mac version of Siri, which would be an important new feature in OS X 10.12. Apple is also working on a new version of iTunes for desktop, which has been expected, but Apple hasn't yet released the software, so it could debut at WWDC. Apple also seems to be planning to change the name of its desktop operating system from "Mac OS X" to "MacOS," making it more consistent with iOS, watchOS and tvOS.

A media report in February said Apple was still making "minor changes to the core system application window user interface," but "these changes are not as obvious as OS X Yosemite in 2014." In addition, like OS X El Capitan, OS X 10.12 places more emphasis on performance improvements.

Rumor has it that Apple is beefing up iCloud encryption and iPhone security features after a dispute with the FBI. Several recent media outlets have reported that Apple will provide more iCloud infrastructure on its own, enhancing iCloud services, as reliability remains one of the biggest troughs for users of its multiple cloud services.

Some media reports say Apple has been developing P2P payment features for Apple Pay mobile payment service, which will be released this year. If the development of P2P payment features is mature, it may debut WWDC. At least Apple will disclose the progress of Apple Pay platform at WWDC. Apple has been working hard to expand Apple Pay to more regions and partner with more card issuers, retailers and banks.

Developers

Apple recently discovered that it is developing the Apple MapKit API(Application Programming Interface) and may have recently released it to developers. Apple will definitely publish information related to development tools on WWDC. There have been rumors recently that Apple is developing technology to enable the News app to support paid content.
