Many users will stutter or even crash when recording videos using Bandicam, and pop up errors such as software that has stopped working or failed initialization, so here's how to solve these problems.

If you crash when you click to start recording, this may be a problem with the video encoder. The solution is:

In [recording]-[Settings] on the left side of the software, select "Xvid" or "H264 (CPU)" video encoder in the pop-up menu.

At the same time, it may also be a problem with your video card driver, please completely uninstall the video card driver and Bandicam program. Then update your driver through the driver wizard or go to the video card website to download the latest driver.

If your software crashes while recording or stopping recording, you can set the video decoder to "Xvid" or "H264 (CPU)" encoder.

(- it is possible to interrupt recording automatically if you use an H.264 (Intel Quick Sync video) encoder to record video.)

(- if you use H.264 (NVIDIA NVENC) and choose CBR instead of VBR, recording may be interrupted automatically)

You can then follow the following steps to adjust:

1. Change the Bandicam output folder to "Desktop" or another folder and try again. For example, change to (C:\ Bandicam), etc.

2. In the Bandicam [recording]-"recording Settings" menu, uncheck the "record Audio, display camera screen in Video, and use enhanced capture method" option to see if the recording is normal. If you uncheck the "record Audio" option, there is a problem with your sound card.

3. If it also disappears in the Bandicam screenshot (.JPG), it must be a compatibility issue with other programs or copy protectors. Ask Windows's Task Manager to end suspicious programs or uninstall replication Protector.
