Shulou(Shulou.com)05/31 Report--

If the iPhone storage space you are running is limited, you will inevitably free up space at some point. After using it for about 12 months, the storage space below 64GB will cause problems for users.

If you're in this training camp like a lot of people, it's time for spring cleaning. This means deleting all photos and videos, which are the two largest storage spaces on the phone.

However, you don't want to lose all your photos permanently, so you need to back them up first (before deleting them). I provide a series of options below to do this, including iCloud and backup to an external hard drive, so select one of these options and do this before deleting anything.

Please back up your iPhone photos before deleting them!

You want to delete photos from your iPhone, but you don't want them to be lost forever. Therefore, you need to back them up somewhere-- a computer, an Mac, or an external storage drive.

Backup to the computer, pick up the iPhone and connect to the computer, the photo application should load automatically. If not, please open it yourself. Next, click the Import option (upper right corner) to start moving all photos to your computer.

Backup to Mac connect iPhone to Mac with USB cable, and the photo application will open automatically. From here, go to the file in the toolbar and select Import. Next, select all the photos and click View Import. The audit will ensure that you do not have any repetition. When this process is complete, start the import.

Back up your photos with iCloud.

If you are an iCloud subscriber, another option is to automatically set your photos to be uploaded to your iCloud account. To do this, you (a) need an advanced iCloud account with sufficient storage space, and (b) set the correct options in iCloud to ensure the proper operation of the process. You do this:

Step 1: set up iCloud on iPhone.

Go to the settings on iPhone.

Select iCloud and click on the photo.

Switch photos on iCloud.

Select optimize iPHONE storage.

Step 2: set up iCloud on PC/Mac.

First, make sure you have downloaded the I cloud for Apple or Windows.

Go to the system preferences (Mac), select iCloud and log in.

Click the option next to the photo.

Click the box next to my Photo Stream.

Everything is ready!

How to delete all photos from iPhone (and leave the iCloud file unchanged).

Well, you've backed up everything and set up iCloud so that all new images can be automatically saved to the cloud. However, just because iPhone is now linked to iCloud, you can't delete all of its contents. Deleting everything on the iPhone also removes it from the iCloud.
