Shulou(Shulou.com)06/03 Report--

Recently, customers say that when using 3D VDI, there are frequent blurred screen problems, which is a bit weird. Because this problem was encountered when the project was just launched, I opened a case for Citrix and gave it to solution. The problem was solved, but it happened again recently.

The Citrix environment information is as follows:

VDA: 7.15LTSR CU2Citrix Receiver: 4.9.2000GPU-profile: M60-1q

Resolutely opened case to Citrix, and the technical support said to try to disable Citrix Receiver local hardware acceleration first. The specific steps are as follows:

On the local computer where Citrix Receiver is installed, set the

Copy the Receiver.admx file under C:\ Program Files (x86)\ Citrix\ ICA Client\ Configuration to C:\ Windows\ PolicyDefinitions

Copy the Receiver.adml from C:\ Program Files (x86)\ Citrix\ ICA Client\ Configuration\ en-US to C:\ Windows\ PolicyDefinitions\ en-US

Then configure Receiver through the local policy: run gpedit.msc as an administrator, then expand: Computer Configuration- > Administrative Templates- > Receiver- > User Experience, and then set Hardware Acceleration for graphics to Disabled save exit. Let the user reconnect to the 3D VDI desktop.

This method is currently being tested, and it is initially intended for users to test it for a week, and if there is no problem, apply this solution to all users' clients. I will update the test results here next week.

Test results: according to the customer's test results, without help, the blurred screen problem still occurs. Continue to troubleshoot this issue with Citrix technical support
