Every time I start Windows 10 recently, I find a strange problem that the printer Print Spooler service does not start automatically. In fact, the startup type of the Print Spooler service is "automatic", but it doesn't work, but it can be started manually.

Go to the Control Panel-Administrative tools-event Viewer to view the system log. Part of the system reported an error, indicating that the Print Spooler service was shut down abnormally.

Suspected to be caused by a virus. But the machines I use are often antivirus and are all reported to be non-toxic.

Check the service dependencies and find that the required RPC service is khaki.

It is suspected that the abnormal shutdown caused damage to the "Print Spooler service" startup file "Spoolsv.exe". Copy a spoolsv.exe from other machines to overwrite and restart. The glitch remains the same.

Final solution:

Start-run, type regedit to open the Registry Editor.

Find the following key values: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SYSTEM\ CurrentControlSet\ Services\ Spooler

Select the Spooler folder and find the key value of DependOnService in the right window.

Double-click to open it with an extra http, change the HTTP to RPCSS, then exit the registry editor and restart the computer.

That's OK.
