There are rumors that Apple will use ceramic antenna panels in laptops to achieve better 5G performance. The price of the ceramic antenna board is 6 times that of the ordinary metal antenna board, but the sending and receiving efficiency is twice that of the ordinary metal antenna board.

According to reports, another reason for the high price of the 5G MacBook is its shell. Apple's iconic metal housing will block 5G signals, which means laptops will need 13 to 15 antennas, while 5G smartphones typically use 11 antennas.
