Xiaomi announced the launch of fitness watch Amazfit Verge 2 in China. It is equipped with an ECG sensor (ECG), which we have seen in Apple Watch Series 4.

The smartwatch features a 1.39-inch OLED display with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels. The monitor is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is supported by Qualcomm's Snapdragon Wear 2500 platform and has 512 megabytes of memory and 4 megabytes of memory. It runs on the AMAZFIT operating system. Wearables are compatible with other devices running Android 4.4 and iOS 10.0 or later. Equipped with 420 Ma battery, 28-hour backup battery can be provided in 4G mode. Certified by IP68, waterproof and dustproof.

With the built-in GPS module, Verge 2 can track up to 10 sports, including running, walking, indoor running, indoor cycling, oval, mountaineering, outdoor cycling, football, rope skipping and cross-country running.

Xiaomi also released the Verge 2 ECG version. It is equipped with Huami's Huangshan No.1 AI processor, which can accurately measure heart rhythm and screen PPG and ECG arrhythmias with atrial fibrillation in real time.

Wearable devices are equipped with electrocardiograms. It can record 60 minutes of ECG data and store it locally. Verge 2 also has keyless entry and keyless startup functions on cars produced by Xpeng Motors.

The standard version of Amazfit Verge 2 retails for 1000 yuan ($145), while the ECG version retails for 1000 yuan ($190) and the limited edition of the Avengers costs 1000 yuan ($215). Verge 2 can be purchased through domestic retailers such as JD.COM and Tmall Mall.
