Linux system and Windows file transfer generally use sftp tools, in addition, rz,sz is also a good choice.

Introduction to rz and sz commands: rz,sz is a command line tool for ZModem file transfer between Linux/Unix and Windows. The advantage is that you don't have to open a sftp tool to log in and upload and download files.

Sz: sends (send) the selected files to the local machine

Rz: running this command will bring up a file selection window to upload files from local selection to the Linux server

Detailed use of rz and sz commands tutorials: I. installation method

[root@ocbsap01 code] # yum-y install lrzsz

II. Uploading and downloading file testing

1. Condition: you need to use client tools such as SecureCRT or Xshell to connect to Linux

2. Upload and download command test

1) upload (rz)

Run the rz command on the client SSH command line as follows:

[root@ocbsap01 code] # rz

After execution, a selection window for uploading files will pop up, and you can choose to upload related files (direct upload of directories is not supported).

Tip: you can use rz-y to overwrite upload, and the default directory of the upload window can be set in the SSH client.

2) download (sz)

Download can be achieved directly using szfilename, where filename is the name of the file you want to download, if the directory needs to be packaged into a single file to achieve download.

[root@ocbsap01 code] # sz backup_file.py #

Upload / download directory SecureCRT is the upload/download directory under the installation directory by default, which can be modified by yourself.

XShell is set in File-> Properties-> File transfer. The default is to ask before download.
