In the past two years, bare metal cloud sales are very good, domestic major public cloud manufacturers have launched bare metal products, bare metal has become an indispensable part. This shows that bare metal cloud has its specific usage scenarios, such as database applications with high performance requirements, as well as some business related to big data. In the future, some AI applications will also involve the basic management of bare metal. In many large business systems, virtual machines account for the highest proportion, the growth momentum of containers is relatively fast, while bare metal is relatively stable. In other words, the demand for bare metal will not go away, and bare metal, virtual machines and containers will all coexist in the next five to ten years.

In the future, users can see the setting scheme of bare metal OS from the Rocky version of Cloud Sea BIOS. The R version strengthens the stability and does the related work to get through the virtual machine and bare metal.
