You can play "rotten Nation 2" instead of fully committed to Microsoft's game vision. Now, the zombie survival game is scheduled to be released on Steam in early 2020. You don't have to worry about playing games with friends. The title will support four-person Xbox Live cross-games, so friends who buy games through Microsoft Store or Xbox One can join you in fighting the undead.

This is not the first Microsoft Store-centric game to jump to Steam. However, it is certain that Steam represents a large audience, which can not be ignored.
