CISCO Cisco Router password recovery:

V restart the router while pressing the Ctrl+ break key to interrupt the loading of the IOS and enter the ROM system.

V modify the default value of the configuration register 0X2102 to 0X2142, which means that the configuration of NV is ignored at startup.

> confreg 0x2142

> reset

V manually load the NV configuration into RAM.

# copy startup-config running-config

V choose to reset the password.

2 password reset with reserved configuration: (config) # password 123

(config) # config-register 0x2102

# wr

2 do not retain configured password reset: (config) # erase nvram

(config) # config-register 0x2102

# wr

CISCO Cisco switch password recovery:

V unplug the switch.

V press and hold the mode key, replug in the power supply and enter the switch ROM system.

V initialize Flash.

Switch: flash_init

V change the config.text file to config.old.

Switch: rename flash:config.text flash:config.old

V restart the switch.

Switch:reboot

V choose to reset the password.

2 reserved configuration password reset: # rename flash:config.old flash:config.text

# copy flash:config.text system:running-config

# password 123

# wr

2 do not retain configured password reset: # delete config.old

# copy flash:config.text system:running-config

# wr

Password recovery of Huawei switching routing equipment:

V restart the switch

V Press Ctrl+b to enter the ROOTROM interface

V enter the factory password Admin@huawei.com

V press the number'7' to clear the login password

V restart the switch by pressing the number'1'

V reset password
