Run du -h --max-depth=1 in the root directory to see which folder is occupied more. The logs of nginx in the/www/wwwlogs/directory account for about 13G.

Found a few log files over 1G, rm-rf xxx.log deleted, login panel background is still the same as before. df -h Found that the system disk is still 100% occupied, the file has been deleted, and the space has not been returned.

When linux deletes a file, it simply deletes a system pointer to the file, and if there are processes using the file, the file will always exist. You can use lsof| grep delete finds the corresponding process and then kills, or directly restarts the corresponding service.

After executing the/etc/init.d/nginx reload command and overloading the nginx service, it is found that the remaining space is normal, and the test upload function is normal.

Two things were done later. One was to clean up part of the request log, and the other was to create a log cleaning task on a regular basis.

A better way to delete.

A better way to delete large files would be to echo '' > file.ext, overwriting them directly.
