Problem description

The Windows 10 used by a user has set the system language to English, but when using the computer, it is found that the startup and login interface language is Chinese, and the display after login is all in English.

Malfunction analysis

The system display language of Windows 10 can actually be different from the startup and login interface language settings. In general, a certain display language is set in the regional and language settings, and the corresponding startup and login interface language will automatically match the display, but occasionally there will be a display language mismatch.

Solution method

Computers are used in China. We hope all of them will be displayed in English. Use the current user account to complete the required display language settings, and then copy the current settings to the startup and login interface, which can be effective for current users and newly logged-in users according to their actual needs.

Operation steps

Right-click the logo-Settings in the lower left corner of the desktop, and click Time & Language in the pop-up interface:

Click Region & language-Additional date, time, & regional settings-Region-Change location:

Because the user account is used to log in, and there is no administrator permission by default, a dialog box that requires administrator account and password will pop up-Yes:

We want the system, startup and environment languages to be displayed in English. When you use them in China, you need to check whether Format is Chinese Y (Simplified, Chian) and Location is China:

Then click Administrative:

In the confirmation dialog box, confirm whether the current user settings are what you need, check the Current user section, then confirm the scope of application of the current user settings below, and click OK to complete the settings:

Welcome screen and system account: display settings for welcome interface and login interface New user accounts: default settings for new login users' system language, etc.

Click Restart now to restart and take effect:

The welcome and login interface after restart has been consistent with the English settings of the system:
