Today we will create a vxlan100_net through Web UI and observe the changes in the network structure of the nodes.

Open the menu Admin-> Networks and click the "Create Network" button

Displays the creation page.

Provider Network Type selects "VXLAN" Segmentation ID, which is VNI, and sets it to 100.

Click "Create Network" and vxlan100 is created successfully.

Click the vxlan100 link to go to the network configuration page. There is no subnet yet. Click the "Create Subnet" button.

Create the subnet_172_16_100_0,IP address as 172.16.100.0Universe 24.

What has happened to the underlying network?

Perform brctl show on the control node to view the current network structure.

Neutron created:

1. Brq1762d312-d4 of the bridge corresponding to vxlan100

2. Vxlan interface vxlan-100

3. Dhcp tap device tap4df76d0e-59

Vxlan-100 and tap4df76d0e-59 are already connected to brq1762d312-d4,vxlan100 's layer 2 network.

Execute ip-d link show dev vxlan-100 to view the detailed configuration of vxlan interface.

It can be seen that the VNI of vxlan-100 is 100, and the corresponding VTEP network interface is eth2.
