Histogram stretching is basically gone in visible light, but it is not because of technological problems in infrared, but mainly because of the characteristics of infrared imaging, and its grayscale varies between dozens of them. In this way, it is necessary to stretch these dozens of grayscale to the whole display range, and the basic algorithm is a linear stretch. The algorithm of advanced points is segmented stretching, region stretching based on edge detection and so on.
