­for Office 365 applications on the Mac OS side, Microsoft has released a new toolbar application called My Workspace for quick access to applications, files, and information through macOS's menu bar.

­this free software is one of the Microsoft garage projects and is reported to have been completed by an internal Microsoft team based in Vancouver, Canada, in four months. Although Microsoft has previously launched a number of garage projects for the Apple platform, they are all for the iOS mobile platform, the first garage project for the macOS platform.

­My Workspace app is located in the toolbar area, and users can quickly preview the work items of the day after clicking, allowing you to join Skype meetings or RSVP meetings. Similar to Dropbox or OneNote, My Workspace displays recently used files.
