Huawei officially launched its new Nova 7 series in China. The Nova series usually focuses on launching phones with unique aesthetic design, powerful selfies and excellent performance at an affordable price. This year's models include Nova 7 5G, Nova 7 SE 5G and Nova 7 Pro 5G. One of the impressive aspects of this series is the first use of organic light-emitting diode displays and punched selfie cameras.

Huawei Nova 7 Pro is definitely a high-end model with a 6.57in OLED curved screen with a resolution of 23401080 pixels. The device has an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9 and supports DCI-P3 gamut. The monitor is also certified by TUV Rheinland.

The Nova 7 Pro is powered by a Kirin 985 processor, a 5G chipset. It is manufactured by TSMC 7 nano process and integrates a plug-in-free single chip 5G baseband solution. 2G/3G/4G/5G network standard and NSA/SA 5G dual mode are supported. Theoretically, the maximum downlink rate is 1277Mbps and the uplink rate is 173Mbps. Compared with the Snapdragon 865 processor that integrates Snapdragon X55 modems, it is said to be 40% faster in downlink and 75% faster in uplink. The honorary president hinted that Kirin 985 bridged the gap between Kirin 990 and Kirin 820 processors.

For photography, the Nova 7 Pro includes four camera settings, including the 64MP main sensor for fmax 1.7 aperture, 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, 8MP telephoto camera and 2MP macro lens. In terms of selfies, the device is equipped with a dual selfie camera setting 32mp autofocus 8MP wide-angle combination. The camera has the functions of SLR BM3D noise reduction, eye movement tracking AF, dazzling beauty, Super Night 3.0, wide-angle distortion correction and so on. No matter how far away it is, the camera can focus quickly in low light. Nova7 Pro supports 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and up to 50x digital zoom. It supports dual structure OIS optical image stabilization and AIS telephoto super image stabilization.
