There is often a requirement that when an IIS website is bound with a SSL certificate, it needs to be accessed by https. But many customers are accustomed to entering only domain names. At this time, you will encounter two problems:

1. When the http site is closed, the user's browser cannot be accessed.

2. If http can be accessed, the user visits the http site directly. Now mainstream chrome browsers directly indicate that the site is at high risk.

In order to solve this problem, I looked for some information and found that it is best to refunction with IIS's URL. When a user accesses the site directly by domain name, he or she automatically jumps to https://xxx.xxx.xxx.

The specific implementation methods are as follows:

1. Windows2008R2 does not have this function since IIS, so you need to go to Microsoft site to download this function extension.

2. After installation, in IIS Management, find the corresponding site, and find the "URL Rewrite" configuration item in the function configuration bar on the right.

3. Add new rules. The main configuration information is

Select "Matchs the Pattern" for RequestURL and fill in "(. *)" for pattern.

Select redirect for action type, and enter "https://{HTTP_HOST}/{R:1}"" for RedirectURL.
