1:F5 devices cannot install images and patches to the current active partition after version 10.0

2: when upgrading across major versions, you need to overupgrade and update the device license

3: an exception may occur on both computers after the upgrade, which needs to be reconfigured.

Upgrade of F5 device version 10.x

Step one:

Import the required iso image and hotfix patch file into the F5 device / shared/p_w_picpaths (current version final patch, target version system image, target version image latest patch)

Step 2:

Assuming that the final patch for the current system version is hotfix-HF10, the system is in the HD1.1 partition and the HD1.2 partition is idle.

Install sys software hotfix Hotfix-BIGIP-10.2.4-860.0-HF10.iso volume HD1.1

Step 3:

Install sys software hotfix Hotfix-BIGIP-11.5.3.2.0.196-HF2.iso volume HD1.3

Install the latest patches for the target version of the system directly, and the system will install them automatically.
