Note: recently, the international science and technology research institute CB Insights released the list of artificial intelligence start-ups in AI, which selected the 100 most potential artificial intelligence companies in the world.

CB Insights AI 100 is recognized as one of the most authoritative lists in the field of artificial intelligence, including Jinri Toutiao, Shangtang Technology, Xia, Cambrian and other AI companies. CB Insights AI100 has always been regarded as a weather vane in the field of AI innovation. This year's Top 100 list covers 15 cutting-edge industries and cross-industry applications, including health care, retail, warehousing, finance and insurance, education, transportation, manufacturing, construction, media and so on.

The selection is mainly based on many factors, such as the patent layout, investment and financing profile, market potential, media attention, partnership, competition pattern, team strength and technological novelty of AI enterprises, as well as the public technological achievements achieved in the past year, and integrates the Mosaic algorithm independently developed by CB Insights for multi-dimensional scoring.

Among the AI 100s this year, there are 10 unicorns (the company is valued at more than $1 billion). As of February 2020, these companies had raised more than $7.4 billion from more than 300 deals from more than 600 investment institutions.

Covering 13 countries around the world, 6 Chinese enterprises were selected.

The companies in the ranking cover 13 countries around the world, including the United States, China, the United Kingdom, Japan, Canada, Chile, Sweden and South Africa, and are supported by more than 600 investment institutions.

Most of these companies (65%) are located in the United States, including H20.ai, which is familiar at home. Canada and the UK were followed by eight each.

There are also many AI companies in China, with six AI startups selected, including Chuiyi Technology, fourth Paradigm, Innovation Wisdom, Squirrel AI, Blue Fatty Robot, and Heduo Technology, covering enterprise intelligent services, intelligent manufacturing, self-driving, robotics, education and other diversified fields.

The six selected companies specifically cover the following contents, or indicate the direction of China's future AI development:

Juyi Technology focuses on deep learning and natural language processing, providing intelligent semantic, voice and visual AI full-stack services.

The fourth paradigm relies on the leading technologies such as "AutoML" and the low-threshold, end-to-end enterprise artificial intelligence PaaS platform "Prophet" to help many enterprise users and partners build a closed loop from data to AI industry landing.

Innovative Qizhi is committed to using the most cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology to provide enterprises with AI-related products and business solutions, through AI to help corporate customers and partners, enhance business efficiency and value, and achieve digital transformation. It is worth noting that revenue in 2019 increased more than five times compared with the previous year, with a total financing volume of nearly 1 billion.

Squirrel AI has successfully developed the first domestic adaptive learning engine with complete independent intellectual property rights and advanced algorithms as the core. Subdivide the knowledge points by artificial intelligence, and then provide targeted guidance to each student's weak links by the way of "Bayesian network + inference + knowledge tracking".

Blue Fatty Robot uses AI and robot technologies such as computer vision, motion planning, mobility and deep learning to develop intelligent supply chain solutions to serve international customers from logistics, manufacturing, retail, e-commerce and other industries.

Heduo Technology is committed to creating self-driving solutions based on cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology and automotive industry technology. It has a complete layout from vehicle wire control, multi-sensor technology to the upper self-driving core algorithm module, with the goal of realizing the industrialization of autopilot technology landing, to create a local data-driven autopilot production solution.

AI has a high proportion of medical care, providing new ideas.

In addition, in this year's Global AI Top 100 list, Deep penetrating Medical Subtle Medical, founded by Chinese, has also become one of the companies on the list because of its innovative achievements in the field of medical imaging AI. This year, there are 13 medical AI companies on the list, which is also the largest proportion of the industry.

The list also shows that AI has infiltrated into all areas of the health care industry. Among them, there are related companies in the fields of medical imaging, drug research and development, stroke diagnosis, cardiovascular disease and so on.
