CTOnews.com news on December 21, GAC GROUP today released the announcement of the resolution of the 55th meeting of the sixth Board of Directors, and the meeting heard reports such as the report on the expected completion of GAC GROUP's 2023 business plan.

GAC GROUP expects to achieve auto production and sales of about 251.3 million and 2.5 million respectively in 2023, an increase of 1.3 per cent and 2.7 per cent respectively over the same period last year. Among them, independent brands are expected to achieve sales of about 890000 vehicles, and independent brand new energy vehicles account for about 58% of independent brand sales, a record high.

CTOnews.com noted that the meeting also considered and adopted the "motion on GAC GROUP's business plan for 2024". In 2024, GAC GROUP will strive to challenge the target of 10 per cent sales growth, of which independent brands are expected to achieve sales of more than 1.1 million vehicles, up more than 22 per cent from a year earlier.

GAC Eain-Pai battery has been put into production this month, and GAC GROUP also announced that it will be loaded with all-solid-state battery in 2026, and the Haopin model will be the first to adopt.

In addition, GAC has taken the lead in setting up a 10 billion-level investment fund to build a safe and self-controllable new energy vehicle industry chain system, mainly invested in new energy batteries, energy ecology, vehicle networking, smart driving, car chips, smart cities and other important projects connecting the upstream and downstream of the new energy vehicle industry chain.
