Reported that in 2023, China's large-scale wind power photovoltaic base construction progress smoothly, by the end of November the first batch has been completed grid-connected 45.16 million kilowatts, the second batch, the third batch has been approved more than 50 million kilowatts, is under construction for six consecutive years.

CTOnews.com learned from the statistics of the national power industry from January to November released by the National Energy Administration that by the end of November, the cumulative installed capacity of power generation nationwide was about 2.85 billion kilowatts, an increase of 13.6% year-on-year.

Data show that solar power installed capacity of about 560 million kilowatts, an increase of 49.9%; wind power installed capacity of about 410 million kilowatts, an increase of 17.6%.

From January to November, the cumulative average utilization of power generation equipment nationwide was 3282 hours, 94 hours less than the same period last year. Among them, hydropower decreased by 292 hours compared with the same period last year, and nuclear power increased by 101 hours compared with the same period last year.

From January to November, the investment in power supply projects of major power generation enterprises nationwide was 771.3 billion yuan, up 39.6% year-on-year. Among them, solar power generation was 320.9 billion yuan, up 60.5% year-on-year. The investment in power grid projects was 445.8 billion yuan, up 5.9% year-on-year.
