Compared with other family models, McLaren GT has always been known for being close to the people and keeping a low profile. The McLaren GTS pursues more aggressive performance while taking into account the convenience of daily driving. To this end, the new car has made great efforts in terms of lightweight and power enhancement.

In terms of appearance, the car follows the McLaren GT design as a whole, and still uses McLaren's iconic wedge headlights, but two stator wings are added to the air inlets on both sides of the front enclosure.

In terms of interior, the car uses a dark red interior as a comfort-oriented supercar with Nappa leather seats that combine sports and comfort. In addition, the car is equipped with a 10.25-inch full LCD dashboard and a 7-inch central touch screen, as well as a 12-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system.

The GTS carries a 4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a maximum power of 635 horsepower, 15 horsepower higher than the current McLaren GT. Meanwhile, the new car weighs only 1519 kilograms, 10 kilograms lighter than the GT. Stronger power and lighter body weight will undoubtedly lead to a more exciting driving experience. GTS accelerates from rest to 200km / h in only 8.9s, and 0-96km / h in 3.1s, both slightly better than GT. It is worth mentioning that its top speed can reach 327 kilometers per hour. In terms of transmission system, the car is equipped with a seven-gear double clutch gearbox, which has three modes of comfort, sports and track, and can use a shift pick to shift gears.

In addition, GTS is equipped with a carbon fiber monomer chassis, which McLaren calls "intelligent adaptive suspension", to strike a balance between handling and ride comfort. It can also be equipped with the lifting front axle system, which is more than twice as fast as the GT and can completely lift the front of the car in only 4.0 seconds. Car buyers can also further customize their cars with options such as new Lava Grey paint and unique GTS turboforging alloy wheels.

The brake system of the new car adopts front 390mm and rear 380mm carbon ceramic brake discs, with front six and rear four piston brake calipers.

According to CTOnews.com, McLaren GTS is currently ordering and is expected to be delivered in 2024.
